ジャーナリスト、活動家、フェミニストとして知られるグロリア・スタイネム(Gloria Steinem)を描く。インドへの留学を経て、ニューヨーク誌などで執筆活動をはじめ、60年代の女性権利運動で活躍。1972年に雑誌「ミズ (Ms.)」を創刊、1977年テキサス州ヒューストンでのアメリカ女性会議に参加した。スタイネムの自伝『My Life on the Road』に基づく。
